The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) needed a proven, rapidly deployable rescue solution capable of operating across a vast maritime domain.
The capability had to integrate with RAN procedures, meet stringent regulatory standards and maintain consistently high-readiness.
Solution for our customer
James Fisher delivered a complete Fly-Away Submarine Rescue System, including the LR5 rescue vehicle, portable handling system and integrated Hyperbaric Suite for up to 88 personnel.
The package also included a Scorpio SC45 ROV, Side Scan Sonar, SQEP-certified operators and maintainers, plus training, testing and operational support through exercises such as Black Carillion.
