Compact bailout rebreather apparatus (COBRA)
Designed and developed by JFD as part of its DIVEX range of rebreathers, COBRA is a direct and high effectual response to the urgent need for significant safety improvements in the saturation diving industry.
COBRA is the only commercial emergency rebreather system in the world to have been granted CE Marking status to NORSOK U101 (Diving Respiratory Equipment) and EN14143 (Self Contained Rebreathing Apparatus), leading the way in terms of safety and functionality.
The system supplies an extended duration of fully independent breathing gas in an emergency scenario and is designed to be smaller than most bailout systems.
COBRA is a unique bailout system combining significant safety advancements while remaining easy to operate and maintain.

Gaspure and Helipure chamber gas recovery systems
Delivering safe removal of chamber gas, JFD’s industry leading Divex gas reclaim systems deliver the highest standards of safety during diving operations, whilst ensuring optimum helium gas reclaim to reduce operating costs.
Diver acceptance, simplicity, rugged construction, quality components, reliability, combined with availability of spares and service make Divex reclaim systems second to none.
Incorporating such well known products like the electric gasmizer diver gas recovery system, the gaspure chamber gas recovery system, and the helipure membrand separation system, JFD can confidently claim to be innovators in diving gas recovery.
Gaspure chamber gas recovery systems
The gaspure chamber gas recovery system purifies contaminated diving chamber or habitat gases and allows chamber gas recovery during operations and decompression rather than venting to atmosphere.
Helipure membrane gas separation systems
Utilising membrane separation technology, the Helipure system allows the removal of nitrogen, oxygen and argon from reclaimed chamber gas. These systems have mainly been used within large industrial complexes for the separation of natural gas. JFD developed this technique to produce a compact, low cost unit for the purification of helium to compliment its existing range of gas management systems for the commercial diving industry.

Electric Gasmizer diver gas recovery systems
Within the demanding environment of a submarine, Divex Gas Recovery Systems can ensure optimal gas recovery and conservation, enhancing operational efficiency and viability.
The Divex systems capture and recycles exhaled gases, allowing for their efficient reuse within the closed loop environment. This not only enhances operational safety by maintaining precise gas mixtures but also supports extended dive durations by reducing overall gas consumption.
Engineered for high pressure conditions and proven as a trusted solution within the Commercial Saturation Diving industry since 1981, the Divex GasMizer Diver Gas Recovery System offers robust performance and reliability.
After more than four decades, the Divex Gasimizer remains the benchmark in the diving industry and continues to provide dive operators with huge savings on breathing gas costs.
