SEABASS™ built-in features
- Perforates single or multiple casing strings, circulating out contaminants (such as oil-based mud) before placing environmental cement plugs
- Dual failsafe safety valves with mechanical lock
- Quick subsea disconnect and reconnect system, preserving well fluid and pressure in the wellbore during drive-off or well control situation
- Operable in open water scenarios from a rig or a vessel, including through a moonpool or over the side
- In-built washing system to prevent the tool becoming encased in wet cement
- No water depth restrictions
