JFD's Submerged Signal Ejector (SSE) is a safety-critical system designed for submarines to launch signal flares and compatible hardware from depth - most commonly in emergency situations. 

Operated from within the pressure hull, the SSE provides a safe and effective method of deploying markers or emergency signals without surfacing.

• Purpose-engineered for submarine safety : The SSE is fully integrated into the submarine’s pressure hull systems, allowing crew to deploy emergency payloads through the casing at depth. Compatible with leading signal devices such as the T-1630A/SRT Submarine Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (SEPIRB), it’s a trusted component for modern naval operations. 
• Lock-in/Lock-out (LILO) chamber : JFD's lock-in/lock-out systems are capable of being built into a submarine design, enabling special forces to be deployed from a dived submarine with ease and safety in mind.
• Bespoke integration systems : Our LILO systems are designed for the efficient and safe deployment recovery of up to 9 divers, with atmosphere monitoring and command and control functions built in. We build all LILO systems in strict accordance with PD5500:2012 and the Lloyd’s Register, so you can trust JFD to deliver confidence under pressure.
• Communications buoy system : JFD's Communications Buoy System enables submerged submarines to maintain critical contact with surface teams, even while operating at depths up to 250m and speeds up to 2 knots.
