James Fisher is able to mobilise its extensive offshore and subsea capabilities to provide search and salvage operations for its clients.
Our capabilities are demonstrated by the completion of the recovery of a 14m diameter 175T CALM buoy, four anchors and over 5km of chain from the seabed off Toulon, France under contract to the Salvage & Marine Operations Integrated Project Team (S&MO) of the UK Ministry of Defence.
As part of this contract, James Fisher utilised ROVs to survey the equipment on the seabed prior to removal, cut the anchors and recover all chains. The CALM Buoy was then towed into Toulon for recycling and on completion of the recovery work James Fisher undertook seabed surveys and cleared any additional debris.
