Swedish Navy breathes easier with Divex

In a deal worth £1.3million, Divex has recently supplied the Swedish Navy with its state-of-the-art shallow water breathing apparatus.

Securing the deal was a joint triumph for Divex’s (now part of JFD) business development team and the in-service support department headed by Glyn Gilbert. Glyn, who has been with Divex for over 20 years, has also taken charge of the all-important aftersales care for this significant contract. From tender to full operation stage, Glyn has been with the client every step of the way. The fact that Divex were adaptable enough to make modifications to the standard set was crucial to the success of its bid.

Glyn explains:

“The kit is renowned for strong operation in the field, but the Swedish Navy had a unique specification requirement. This contract was both as challenging and rewarding as it was very detailed, involving training in-country and a full documentation package. However the most rewarding part of the project is knowing that we have met our client’s needs. This is further emphasised by our continued in-service support of the equipment.”
