James Fisher gets pedalling
Team James Fisher gets pedalling for charity on an impressive 70 mile charity bike ride.
On 25 September 2016 a team from JF Subsea and Fendercare Marine embarked on an impressive 70 mile charity bike ride. The team of five took part in Bullards Tour de Norfolk all in aid of raising money for Big C.
The James Fisher team arrived at Norfolk Showground on a blustery but thankfully beautifully sunny September day, faced with a 70 mile cycle route which would take them along the many tranquil and scenic roads which Norfolk has to offer.
The team of five consisted of Paul Cansdale, Mark Cook, John Docherty, Martyn Muntingh and David Sutton. It was a fantastic effort on their behalf as they all completed the bike ride, and in the process they generated in excess of an incredible £450 for the charity Big C. Big C is a charity local to Norfolk and Waveney which works to improve the lives of those affected by cancer. It does this by funding research as well as providing money which goes towards the purchase of medical and diagnostic equipment within Norfolk's hospitals. In addition to this, Big C provides support and information to those affected by cancer.
If you would like to make a donation on their JustGiving page it would be going to a fantastic cause and would be gratefully received - the fundraising page can be found at: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/David-Sutton6
