Job Purpose

In order to sustain the continued growth of this dynamic organisation, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to support the development of a new submarine rescue capability for an international client.

Working as part of the Project Management Team, this role is primarily focused on supporting the Training Lead towards successful achievement of the training aggregate defined within the contractual deliverables.

Duties will include;

  • training support;
  • course development;
  • training administration;
  • course coordination;
  • production of training materials;
  • liaising with internal and external parties to organise training sessions;
  • coordination of associated logistics;

Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Training Lead, key responsibilities include:

Training Administraion

  • Administrating online and paper booking of training courses;
  • Liaison and Training Advisor for local and global based training;
  • Update course attendance lists;
  • Preparation and distribution of course confirmation letters;
  • Assists with preparation and collation of training records requests;
  • Assist with financial controls/expenditure during training;
  • Providing letters of invitation to candidates where necessary;
  • Maintaining documents and filing system on training drive;
  • Work on the guidance of the Training Lead as required;
  • General administration duties in support of training activity;
  • Travel, accommodation and subsistence bookings;

Course Coordination

  • Prepare training room/facility before the start of each course, ensuring there is adequate training stationery/materials;
  • Coordinate booking of external instructors, alerting Training Lead of any potential issues;
  • Coordination of travel and subsistence for trainees (as required);
  • Prepare training materials prior to the commencement of the course;
  • Updating Training Lead of course numbers and any potential issues;
  • Ensures Company specific training documents are available to each training module;
  • Actively aid candidates and lecturers with any requests during the running of the course;
  • Maintain database of test / assessment results and any certificates issued;
  • Sending out copies of certificates to trainees/customer where requested;

Production of Training Materials

  • Locate training materials prior to the commencement of the course;
  • Preparation and distribution of training manuals as necessary;
  • Updating Training Lead of any potential issues;
  • Ensures Company specific training documents are available to each training module;
  • Production of course certification;

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in a Project Coordinator / Administrator role (experience in a Training Delivery environment desirable)
