Job Purpose

Having the responsibility of overseeing the contractual and financial delivery of each STS project operation.

Responsibilities / Commitments

  • Oversee and co-ordinate ROW ship-to-ship operations worldwide to ensure maximum business potential, this will include the scheduling of vessels / equipment and personnel
  • Ensure operations are in compliance with the company STS Operations procedures manual for all project operations
  • Ensuring enquiries are hastened, and followed up to completion in accordance with company policy
  • Out of Hours work – providing cover worldwide on the operations desk on a 365/24/7 basis, including public holidays as part of the on-call rota, as often as 1 week in 3 and sometimes 2 weeks back to back.
  • Ensure overdue sales payments are promptly chased with the client by all staff

  • Establishing good working relationships with all clients and suppliers
  • Carry out sales visits as required and do all things possible to assist the continuing growth of the Company
  • Carry out all work in accordance with the company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
  • Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by management
  • Handle and oversee client enquiries to ensuring formal offers are carried out in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, ensuring high margins are maximised and unharnessed wherever possible
  • Monitor and ensure all operations are carried out whilst ensuring maximum profitability
  • Accurately raise sales invoices, ensuring maximum profitability and margins are gained
  • Scrutinize supplier invoices ensuring accuracy, so that company cost exposure is limited as much as possible
  • Ensure best use of all equipment to maximise utilization and profitability across the base network
  • Actively participate in performance reviews (appraisals), and training programs where necessary
