Job purpose

To manage the finance core function for the JFD Group and report accurate monthly financial results.

Principal accountabilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of reconciliations including Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss
  • Preparation of tax analysis for P11D’s, PSA returns, corporation tax returns etc.
  • Preparation, posting and review of ad-hoc and recurring journals
  • Assistance with management of Sales and Purchase ledger
  • Management of fixed asset register
  • Suggest improvements in control processes
  • Assistance with treasury function, cash management and approval of purchase ledger and other ad-hoc payments
  • Provide assistance to cost control function as required
  • Preparation of GST / VAT returns
  • Payroll preparation and review
  • Assistance with external and internal audit requirements
  • Assistance with Group Tax Queries
  • Assistance to Cost Control Function as required
  • Preparation of compliance documentation
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required
