Graduates and apprentices
Become a leader with James Fisher and Sons plc.
- Various UK locations
- Competitive salary
- Skills development programme tailored to your strengths
- Opportunity to work within a number of industries throughout the scheme
Are you a recent or upcoming graduate with demonstrable leadership qualities? If so, James Fisher and Sons plc’s graduate development programme could put you on the path to a leadership position within one of the world’s leading marine engineering services providers.
About the programme
Our graduate development programme offers the opportunity to get involved with a variety of challenging and exciting roles across many areas of James Fisher. From working on high-profile tenders in the offshore renewables market to leading an operations team in the marine sector, the roles on offer are wide-ranging and tailored to graduates’ strengths.
Scheme participants will develop their leadership, project management, operations, sales, and commercial management skills through on-the-job training and formal leadership training, and upon completion of the programme we work with all graduates to identify a full-time position at James Fisher that’s the perfect fit for them.
About you
We’re looking for proactive and driven students and graduates with a minimum 2:1 degree from a recognised university. The programme is open to anyone regardless of their degree subject, but what’s important is the ability to demonstrate leadership, negotiation and influencing skills and a strong commercial awareness.
James Fisher is a multinational company, with locations throughout the UK and internationally. As a result, the programme is likely to suit those who are interested in global opportunities, and the ability to speak a second language would help.
